Little black box called Television!
I watch it
Morning, day and night
The plasma screens are quite a sight
Soap Operas, Reality Shows, Movies
I watch anything there is to see
But the little black box called Television
Gets on my nerves
Images of other peoples life it serves
As a daily dish to my vision
Even my own ideas about fashion
Are ruthlessly destroyed in its mission
To impose on me of how to live
But I love Television
I am addicted to Television
Like glue is to paper
Or love making is to a beginner
I am its concubine with my permission
Please at me, don't point a finger
When I am lonely
It is easier to pretend
The images presented by TV
Are my friends
When I am horny
Without sounding funny
I can make love in my bed
After breakfast in bed
To anyone from the TVs images
Now endorsed into my head
That little black box
Sucks, it really sucks
It is just a vicious circle

Television
Television
is the curse of the nation
Feeding ignorance
from station to station.
Yes.
The Television
Is the curse of the nation
What you're going to watch
is beyond explanation.
Information?
Useless
you bet.
Over thirty channels
and you have not picked one yet.
From
The Television
That stands there
in the corner
Hypnotic regression
of the nation is the order
of
The Television
What have you learned of
yet?
Generations of kids
that still don't know
their alphabet.
They watch
The Television
With murder on their minds
Images of death
portrayed
of every single kind.
On
The Television.
And then we act surprised
When a child commits a murder
before our very eyes.
In a society
That does not sanitise
The only wonder is
that we never realised.
That
The Television.
Feeds off our very brains
Sending out
To all about
Invisible radio waves.
Yes
from
The Television.
None of us are saved
It feeds us ignorance
Keeping everyone as slaves.
Television
is the curse of the nation
Feeding ignorance
from station to station.
Yes
The Television
is the curse of the nation
What you gonna watch
is beyond explanation.

Maintaining Peace with Ease
Both World Hello Day' and 'Television Day falls on same day
Without both where we would be today
Gopal was trying hard to resolve conflict and confusion
After blaming for scheduling mishap on United Nation.
Gopal said hello on daily basis
And to watch television he always wished
World Hello Day was to be celebrated by greeting 10 people
By personally communicating to preserve peace.
He eased the pain of choosing between the two
By switching on the television in his house
And on November 21, watching 10 people saying hello
Celebrating both, and rule of preserving peace to follow!

I want to confess
I want to confess as I have committed a sin,
Sitting idly in my emotional incapacities
Conscious that this is only television screen.
I see people being butchered like flies therein
Women being gang-raped in large degrees
I want to confess as I have committed a sin.
The school kids getting burnt alive within,
Due to the negligence causing short circuits,
Conscious that this is only television screen.
With mere curiosity I watch each of the scene,
I want to cry, get angry but cant, my apologies!
I want to confess as I have committed a sin
I am taught not to dwell long on any scene,
As I can view next days batch of goodies
Conscious that this is only television screen.
All of my emotions whirled into the screen
Getting a call for hangout from my buddies.
I want to confess as I have committed a sin
Conscious that this is only television screen.
