I face the future fearfully
its time to say my last farewell.
The grey sky weeps in sympathy.
My joy in life is gone from me.
I lack the words with which to tell
I face the future fearfully.
Fell death chooses impartially
I hear the tolling funeral bell.

Vampires

There exists
a certain class
comprising
preying people.
Who strive
emotionally
earnestly endeavour
to enlarge
personified problems.
Using optical illusions
to promote increase
strife awareness.
To stimulate
desired sympathy.
Dug in staunch
chronic sympathy seekers
sell a perverse mixture
comprising bullshit
chickenshit
fish boned gut
seaweed and fresh
horse manure.
Neglected apathetically
chronic sympathy seekers
do indeed ripen
copiously
unless lanced
with indigenous
frost flaming fortitude.
Being listless emotion leeches
sucking compassion
chronic sympathy seekers
tend to leave sought
languid victims drained.
Such spiritually void people
regularly sinuate schemes
to make common misfortune
magnified problems larger.
Carry poverty
with dignity.
No pretence
no attempt to hide.
Look it squarely
straight in sickly eye.
When faced with vigour
adversary will often flinch.
