SUN SETTING.....

Blazen with an orange hue,
The sun started setting,
As if the running clouds
Are on fire, the trees
Gently swaying in the wind,
Birds roosting, after
Their feeding and happy flights,
Darkness started setting
On the eastern horizon,
With the mountain haloing
With the gently setting sun,
Stars dawning from the east
To the west of sky,
Bats strarted their
Daily evening prowls,
The sun said aduie
To one more daylight,
To star on the horizon
On the other side of earth,
Night softly landing after
The sun enduring daylong.

~Misty Moon~

The mist rises from down below
hanging upon sun's everglow,
My moon is waning to and fro
ride rays, into the sun I go....

With welding power of his rays
burn through these dreams again today,
A crescent heart is burning black,
within my night his sun retracks.

And so on silver the night will play
his gold is fading with the day,
This power rules the tides and you,
his sun holds warm yet burns one through.
(still working on this, will probably delete)

Fairy Tale

The blue skies
A different hue
Familiar yet distant

Some smog
Mist and fog
With dew of last night

Will lift
But the sun doesn't seem
As strong as it was

The foggy air lingers
Unafraid and unwilling
The sun shies away
Hiding the horizon

I've heard it said on bad days
Like Chernobyl and Twin towers
Bomb smoke over Baghdad
And now Lebanon and Israel
And other sad times

Weakens the sun to shine
And come out

But the plants will wither and die
Flowers fade and decay

So we prayed to the sun
Promised to change our ways
If she would come back

The clouds dispersed
And clear skies returned
And we
Lived hapily ever after

Open Arms

The sun open his eyes in the
Sky…
As the sun looked down on
Me...
With open arms and love the
Sun showered his blessings
Down me..
And as the sun smile, the lord
Sent you to me....
