Book-Smart VS Mother-Wit
We think and cogitate like our trainers
They keep our spirits in institutionalized containers
Mentality cloning must constantly work us
Like trained animals in a circus
Personality and character does not come in a book
Building blocks became stumbling blocks
Your mind became a nook
Instead of being nosy, now its inquisitive
Dying in the name of science, a faηade to live
Because you can write it off is why you give
Everything you possess and want is captive in a sieve
Inspite of all the knowledge you can hire
Low self-esteem is still the fire
Holding you steadfast in the muck and mire
Book-smart cant provide the help you desire
The spirit of life has left your being
Your souls torment is screaming
You elevated your mind but you are not seeing
You have book-smart but no feeling
Transmigration of information a weapon for stalking
Devoid of humanity, you are a dead man walking
No emotion-no sentiment just totally intense
Afraid of using you God-Given common sense

Imperfect Starts
the guy who's doing the books
is forever following around
the guy who does the printing
who is following around the gal
who answers the telephone
to see what the deal is with her
because there just might be
something more than photos developing
between them in the darkroom
but the secretary, who is tall
and thin and looks like a model
understands the way things are
and is one smart cookie who knows
the owner is an even smarter one
who doesn't much like socializing
in the office so she tries
to act aloof around the printer
who is prone to play the fool for her
nevertheless, she's already taken
but can't make up her mind
if she wants to stay that way or not
because marriage ain't so hot to her
(but they don't that) and
everyone-except maybe the secretary
seems to be acting a little nervous

Ernesto on Death and Dying
You dont seem to understand, old man,
Im not gonna die, not today,
Not tomorrow, not ever.
But you just dont get it.
Im strong, Im fierce,
And I take care you hear me?
I take care of my business
You understand?
And I dont know no one whos died
Cept by accident or in a fight
And Im smarter than that,
Way smarter.
You, though, you, old man,
Youre weak, andlook, youre trembling:
I could kill you right now with my bare hands,
You understand?
Youre gonna die, you can count on that.
Its just too bad you wont be around
To see Im right.
