The last day

The Last Day
The last day of school,
Some think it's sad, while others think it's great,
We think of all of our summer adventures,
While others, remember all the memories they had,
Next year will be different,
Different than what we are used to,
But we all have one thing in common
We're glad it's over.

From the first day, we wait,
Until the final bell rings for 3 whole months,
The teachers are glad, too.
Finally as the last day arrives, we scream and we cheer,
For summer is almost here.
We clean out our lockers,
Take pictures,
And have our yearbooks signed,
We don't know what lies ahead, but we don't care.

Finally, the last hour of the day,
You can see the looks of anticipation on students' faces,
Like a 3-year old on Christmas day,
Finally 3-2-1, the bell rings,
We all chear, because school is over, and summer is here,
So as we leave we say good-bye, to another school year,
Our friends, and eating school lunches,
Until a new school year.

School

Why do we go to school?
We have to learn
We have to strive harder
We have to go to school
School can be fun...
For some people!
I find it fun
I find it bad
I know a guy who was whipped at his school...
That was my dad!) :
So be lucky with have fair schools now
And not green liver for lunch
Like my mum had!) :
Honestly!
Be cool and calm
Or you'll find yourself...
In the headmasters palm...

Tea Party with Principal Sir! !

What a nice tea party!
Cakes and coffee
Organized at Bangladesh International School & College
For the meritorious students of this school
Oh! Our Principal Sir Col Md Anisur Rahman Chowdhury!
Encourages the students very much
Give us rising hopes
Guides us to the right path as a good human being
What a talented person he is!
He has many dreams with this school!
Scholarship and Talent batch are being awarded by Him to the students!
Such a dedicated and hard working person he is!
We are trying our best to prove our talent!
Our Principal Sir is trying to make our country and school famous!
In such a way so that our country and school are known in the whole world!

Shine on Ruby

Ruby Bridges was a young girl
Faced with the depression of segregation
But she wanted a good education
She wanted to go to school
The day the schools integrated
She walked to school alone
They threw rocks and sticks and protested
'Why is a BLACK girl in OUR children's schools? '
Her school was a prison
Kids laughed and made jokes
Her teacher was nice though
And she began to learn
Each day she arrived with African American guards
Protecting a young innocent girl
The people still threw rocks
They still threw sticks
They still protested
But each day the crowd began to thin
And each person gone let a ray of hope in
Eventually they came no more
To throw rocks
Or sticks
Or protest
But still, she was not accepted
What a difference she made though
An African American girl who was not
Hurt by rocks
Hurt by sticks
Hurt by the brutal protests
She never lost hope
Though they wounded her soul
Because she was a brave little girl
