Don't Make the River Home
Dont make the river home.
Rivers can turn wild,
Tossing you about with no care for how you land,
Bashing your bones once you do.
Rivers rage with
Perilous potency
That rends limbs and souls;
Sudden fury to blind or behold.
The river can heal,
Sustain life,
Then jerk it away in a flashing splash.
Visit the river
Dont make the river home.

Dams On The Cuyahoga
Just west
of the Lake,
meanders
the burning river.
The river
in my dreams.
The river on fire.
The river
that oozes
rather than flows.
The river
in which
a person
does not drown
but decays.
And there
the river sits,
waiting for me
to come back home.

Tambourine violin
Jovana smile a smile
the river flows
the river is deep
the drops are the pearls of the sounds
Jovana speak a word
the word is slow
the word is tender and soft
like the river where it flows
like the river that is deep
like drops the pearls of the sounds
Jovana feel a feel
the home is close
the step is loose
like the river where it flows
like the river that is deep
like the drops the pearls of
your smiles
your words
your mother
your father
like
tambourine violin
they are waiting for you
your love is waiting for you

RIVER OF LOVE
Come
Come
Come
Come
Come
And meet me in the river of love
Love is a river
That flows gentle
River of love
is cristal clear
Let all your worries go
