I Remember You

Like it was few minutes ago,

I remember you,

I remember your pretty face,

I remember your mother-like voice,

I remember the hope in your voice,

I remember the inspiration in you eye,

I remember the curve on your lips when you smile,

I remember the color of your skin,

I remember the smell of your perfume,

I remember your sad and happy moment,

I remember your pain and struggle,

I remember how he never noticed,

I remember how you were forgotten by him,

I remember how she cared and would die for you,

I remember how she never gave-up on you,

I remember your last day and ward with me,

I remember the day and time,

I remember the unforgettable news,

I remember how i wish it were hoax,

I remember how lifeless you lay on your death bed,

I remember how pretty you still are on it,

I remember the heart break,

I remember the tears run down my cheeks,

I remember how i wish you could see me now,

I remember how heavily your mother howled,

I remember the story told in her howl,

I remember your sibling standing on your grave side with so much

tears in their eyes,

As they lit there candles to pray for your soul, i remember.

I remember the happy and sad faces,

I remember you LINDA.

I Remember

I remember your face
i remember your taste
those nights i was alone
i remember your words
i remember your voice
you were there
you took my fears
i remember your touch
i remember your love
i looked at you broken
you sewed me back up
i remember your heart
i remember your eyes
black in the night
i remember your tears
as they fell to my feet
i remember your cries
as you begged me not to leave
i remember your hate
i remember her
i remember that night
full moon set in the sky
I remember your face
scary misplaced
i remember your touch
lustfull, not trust
i remember your eyes
dark and full of lies
i remember your taste disgrace
i remember your face
as you carried me to my room
i remember you holding me
dropping me to the floor
i remember your look
scared and sorry
i remember my heart
and the thread coming undone again
i remember your words
soothing and kind
i remember your voice
when you told me good-night
i'll always remember you
i'll always remember my first love
i'll always remember the pain, the dark,
the good, and the light
i'll always remember you
i'll always remember

A Dying Brain

Do you recall how I was once your fire –?
And we, a regal cloud of unity
Meandering through the closing blues of night,
Commanding stars to glitter;
Dawn to blush?

Your answer comes in ever-blanking stares:
A wall that blocks the know,
Damping down the glow that used to emanate
From clear and lucid eyes.
They've lost the will to recognise.

But hear! We are fifty years together –
And once we writhed in pleasure –
Drowning in emotion,
That which was our prime.

You don't recall.
You only lie as vegetation
Scattered on the ground:
A living mound of flesh,
Devoid of any neural mesh
To let you say 'I'm sound.'

Don't worry Dear,
For I'm aware with memory!
I'll tell you how we were.
We have our right of history!

If you could just concur.
