Pride
Pride struck the pose; the bugle hailed
And bid them stand a little taller Chest out!
Theyd fought their battles years ago You know,
When I were a lad, we ad it bad!
And eer the stories came raging battles,
Rations, lice and all! Survival MEANT
Survival in the field oh yes, the message
Travelled home! But I could listen smitten
By the tales in old and craggy faces,
Pushing up the pride in bushy brows
Forever; standing up together with a rank of
Men that did us proud
But now the pectoralis major screamed
The order Shen! and other spiky words.
And though attrition in the numbers brought
The annual tears, comfort always came in
One evergreen line: We Shall Remember Them

Pride
Pride is the solder protecting our homes
Pride is-
The look in a heros eyes
Pride is a mother wacthing over her childern
Pride is-
The love in her heart
Pride is a teenager at there frist job
Pride is-
The blister on there feet
Pride is lion watching over his tertory or the pig rolling in the mud
Pride is standing for what you belive in
Pride is the fire in our heart

Pride
Pride
Pride is a sin,
That keeps you locked within,
The yes,
the please,
the more,
Pride hits the slamming door!
Keep your head up high,
Pride will not ask why,
Step on those below,
Step on up to the show.
Pride is a sin,
Not just a simple sin,
It takes a mouse,
Not a man,
To make pride
The drive within.
Pride is a sin,
That keeps you locked within,
The yes,
the please,
the more,
Pride hits the slamming door!

By Your Side
Take pride,
Take pride for a walk.
Show it off,
Show it everywhere,
People recognize pride
With enlightenment,
Of letting pride be itself.
Be your self,
With pride,
By your side,
But most of all smile.
Smile with PRIDE
