A Betrayal of Life

Everyday Ram walks with some intention,
Towards the sea beach’s extension;
Unnoticed and uncovered by the moving people-
Just as a neglectfully thrown rotten apple.

A torn rag was what covered his body,
Yet his physique looked hardy!
As he walked it seemed-
Like a colloid moving in Sun’s gleam!

The only thing of value to him-
Was his mother’s presented ring-
Who left him alone in this nasty bower,
With no roof under Nature’s shower.

He goes to the seashore-
To add some pennies in his empty store,
By washing the dishes and plates-
Of different tourists on different dates.

This day wasn’t any special,
The earth being so superficial.
Ramu got a new rich visitor-
And washed the plates when the meal was over.

Meanwhile a disorder knocked in-
The rich-man’s wife failed to find her ring;
Everywhere they looked for it-
Yet didn’t find even a trace of it.

But how unfortunate was it to match with Ramu’s ring,
That the man snatched it in a swing;
Ramu cried and struggled to get it in vain,
“It’s not stolen it’s mine”, he shouted times and again.

Later when the man saw it was copper and not gold,
He threw it in neglect in one of the wave’s fold.
Ramu didn’t say a word in protest-
As the only mirror of her mother went into a deep crest.

He sat down looking at the endless waves-
And said, ” Mother why did you leave me in the hands of these knaves.

What's The Fear In Life

Liking and non-liking are what with what we do play in life,
Families and buildingsare what in which we make investments in life,
Good thoughts and thinkings are what most involve less in life,
Tears and smiles are some with which we interact in life
Mothers and fathers are those who we love in life
Sons and daughters are those for whom we live in life,
Technologies and progress are those we look up to in life,
Yes and nos. are the words to make decisions in life,
Neither and nor are the words we use frequently in lite,
Wealth and money which we whim to earn in life,
Honesty and integrity are those qualities which we love to adhere to in life,
The forbidden fruits are those we wish to taste in life,
Opportunities and chances are fhose we want to get in life,
Creativity and discoveries are those - rare to people in life,
Gone days and memories are those to cherish in life,
Happenings and memories are those like jerks in life,
Struggles and sorrow are those to overcome in life,
The ticking of pendulum is, that reminds the age of our life,
So many are the things to do in life -
So why fear the fact - to step forward with each step towards the end of life?

A Sonnet Defining Love

Love-Its like a precipitation in our sojourn-
Into hazy permamist which can turn!
Or peacefull showers of blessings under the sun.
It can be a sorrow or a charm;
The sorrow is enough to melt a stern,
And the charm is too much to learn.
Fantasy, ecstasy, hope, desire-
Even great wisdoms may be a liar! !
To get into it and to be carried away with it;
To get wet with it and to dry from it.
Many have defined it as it suited to them-
But how many have felt and how many to get fame?
Definition of it -as how it could be? ? ! -
Close your eyes ' like it -it ought to be'.

Holidays

Comes specially in the months of Summer and Winter,
It is the liking of everybody,
Giving respite from unending work and study;
When it ends all wishes it had ended later.

Some wish to spend in holy places, some in homes,
Some in maternal houses, some far away to Buddhist domes;
While some to Singapore and Switzerland
But I tell you there's nowhere better than own country's sands.

My dream holidays I'll like to spend-
In lands far away from worldly scent;
Full of beauty, happiness and fun-
Pollution, studies, tension -there will be none.

Even God took rest on the seventh day of his creation-
Here lies the importance of holidays in our sojourn.
