Tell Me

tell me how it feels
when your love slips
away

i say
the sky turns gray
and poison bubbles in my veins

tell me tell me how it strikes
when your love leaves
your eyes

i say
the colors wane and fade
but you don't care anyway

and i will never forget
every single word you said
i will never forget
how i believed
that my love would never end

tell me tell me how time heals
scars love left on your
dreams

i say
time will never ease the pain
only rain, yes, only rain

and i will never forget
every single word you said
i will never forget
how i believed
that my love would never end

The Beat Of The Earth

(self translation from russian)

everything is so unimportant
just ashes flying on your step
i love you and i know you know that
this secret isn't hardest kept

yes i'm the poorest of creators
deaf and blind to the beat of the earth
but you will give me what i crave for
and show me that domain of yours

i'll see your soul gain its powers
from magma-hidden sparkling source
born of forgotten lives and doubts
and like a thousand stars it burns

you'll cling to fluctuating flow
absorbing might no one would dare
and i will look at you and hope
that you will give my small share

and when we're back from our journey
back on the solid face of earth
you'll say the word you'll say it for me
the only word of real worth

The Beautiful Girl

you pull yet closer to me
your chin rests on your palm
i see what you set me to see
i’m sentenced to succumb
and always stunned when you are mine
with dazzling flood of curves
you’re killing me with each slim line
with thinness of your skirt
with fiery aura of your pose
with - gosh! - just everything
and then you smile, my reason blows
drowned in adrenaline
it cuts my poor chest like glass
i’m choking mumbling shy
and then with one last coupe de grace
you lay your hand on mine

i touch your cheek
your velvet skin
i’m happier than i’ve ever been
i close my eyes and pray you stay
you always take my breath away
shine of the moon glare of the sun
both sing you are the only one and
when you say you love me so
i spread my wings of which i’ve never ever known

The Drugging Girl

walking alone she talks
as if screwed up with drugs
but she wouldn't talk to me
a breeze plays with her hair
she doesn't mind me stare
from behind a maple tree

she looks at ghosts of time
with a shy and shiny smile
but she wouldn't smile at me
and panting in her wake
i rush to make or break
think that break it's gonna be

yet i open my mouth
knowing stupid i must sound
'you're so sweet a girl'
she answers with a shrug
and goes to take some drug
but first slams shut her door
