016GM16M hidden pain
i squat similar to indian chief
use my finger to draw an abstract
on semi-wet sand; i am unskilled
i'm tracing your name; i can't write
without lifting my fingers on lower case
so as my very long name; lip-tied
i use my palm to erase everything
sharp edge of shell scratch me
i feel the pain but it didn't bleed
it is there but you can only touch
just like what you're feeling now
your smile has mask it pretty well

016GM16N unchain the thought
i close my palm as if hiding
something, i don't want seen
i blow it slowly refreshing
reminds me of winter then
i have to go out in the open
so i can talk to you my friend
i remember it was thirty seven
not counting wind chill factor
i survive by relaxing my body
to provide unrestricted flow
today i'm trying to block pain
holding myself from scream

016GM16O trying to save you trouble
somebody came inviting me
to play volleyball i almost oblige
til she notice my hand is bleeding
it wasn't when i was feeling pain
probably the nerves were numb
body fluids is just trying to repair
it's a magic glue put flesh together
caked like dried chocolate dark red
i'm still hiding it and refused to answer
any question that pop from their minds
i might be so selfish keeping to myself
i don't know why i do it; maybe scared

016GM16P let me go
i walk closer to waning waves
i wanted to feel the nature's lips
escaping grain of sand escaping
between my toes into the depth
it is telling me to come to join her
to ride her crest through summer
waves coming becoming bigger
i have to jump so i wont wash over
i feel there is undertow pulling me
i run to shore gasping for breath
then i look back and smile at her
not ready to be part of you forever
