042511B Don't Forget Your Cellphone

i was driving to lakeside
looking for a familiar house
that i used to go; changes
has me thinking where, which
even natural markers grew
cars are newer, new model

then i saw face peeping
from one of windows, maybe
it was five years, been there
my cell phone was separated
from me; my house is far away
i knocked and i was directed

042511C Lake Behind House

house has boat ramp; sailboat
i wanted to sail that ten footer
around; let's see how i navigate
small body of water 100 acres
maybe next when there's wind
there are swimmers on practice

saw three fishes gently moving
not hungry, just playing around
i won't try to catch them, run-off
could have contaminated water
it's always enjoyable watching
gliding effortless like walking

  211.

042710g in between feelings

i walk slowly away from the lake
that has taken a swath of my time
i learned two to three i can relate
these eyes has enough of the show
i'll feed my heart with something new
over the field where everybody walk
and vocalize when they are in need

i start my car and look back to ocean
rippling, reaching, dashing as usual
i would love to glide through full speed
rooster tail follows me to every which way
when i reach the bridge i have too much
knots for a day; turn around anchor out

  212.

042810a too occupied to get out

i stayed inside my car watching
people passing by; they seem
in a hurry for something never
cross my mind; they probably
save a couple of minutes; not
enough for altered coffee break

weather is unusually cool today
wind is dry; it irritates my eyes
i could have bought an eye-mo
or anything that ease this pain
pollen is still thick in some areas
i won't be surprise for some tears
