  197.

051310C water source

i walk between narrow pass
a chip could come to a crush
water chilled close to perfection
gurgling sound against stones
where tiny fishes dart for cover
upon hearing my steps thunder

ahead is waterfalls, a bridal veil
shiny leaves moisten on ledges
dripping, dripping to pouring rain
moss growths on falls' bowl; thick
a swimming pool for ducks' chicks
and laundry basin for the natives

  198.

051310G sad discovery

for fifty cents you have the opportunity
to see somebody's face a mile away
not whole day but one sixth of an hour
remember there are people behind you
who is craving to see how it looks like
some privilige brought a vernacular

for me i just want to see my house
if somebody came to visit to see
my shed looking for tools to borrow
i carefully put two round coins in slot
i pointed telescope directly to my house
i saw something that put tears on my eyes

***
story i watch on tv

  199.

051310L get it while its there

i see birds hovering
above cresting sea
searching for minnow
then dive for a hunt
jump off water fly away
oh! that's strong move

it must be school of fish
they're after; on frenzy
in my mind it's all out hunt
it could be one of those
seasons they appear
opportunity must be taken

  200.

051310O downstream walk

jumping frogs from riverbanks
i could catch some for dinner
i wait for them to run out of air
then pick them up like pear
no let them be where they be
to catch mosquitoes all day

i continue walking downstream
passing vegetable farms & ranch
i love to see how's the river doing
digging roots along the way; cruel
when you're on its way; you be erase
expected as rain pour on her face
