Moths
On a peaceful summer midnight,
Under a moonlit sky,
I stand beneath a street lamp
As moths go flying by.
I seem to hear in the stillness,
The fluttering of their wings,
As if a magnet invisible,
Collected all flying little things
Around the lamplight they gather,
And do their strange little dance,
Eyes aglow in the lamplight,
Unblinking, as if in a trance.
And as the nightime fades away,
To greet again another day,
My winged adncers soon take flight,
To return perhaps?
Tomorrow night?

my sandwich
I made a sandwich with some worms,
Im afraid my tummy turned,
I put some mustard on the top,
But Boy, it made it HOT,
I put some sardines in as well,
But then I didnt like the smell
I added garlick and salmon paste
My mummy cried 'What a waste '

My shoes
I have a hole in my shoe,
In my shoe,
In my shoe,
Whatever can I do?
I put some paper in my shoe
But still it let the water through (thru)
Now my socks are getting wet,
Im afraid a cold Ill get
Now my feet go SQUELCH, SQUELCH, SQUELCH
Because to the shoemaker I should have went.......

Snow
Fluttering gently to the ground,
Touching earth without a sound
Transforming world with its glow
Magical world of winter snow,
Painting landscapes with its touch,
Different picture on every bush,
Silent world, painted clean
Moonlight casts an eerie sheen.
Night time hunters all around,
Barn owl, out on the hunt,
Silently surveys his world,
Dormouse dashes cross the snow
Dead quickly -just one blow.
Morning sun creeps oer the hill
Lighting up a world still
Rain clouds begin to loom
Winter snow....gone too soon.
