Autumn
Autumn came in multicolors last year,
Fiery reds and burnished oranges
Bright yellows and rusty greens,
Painted leaves that floated
From barren branches
And rested lightly on the sleeping grass
The musty smell of dying things
So particular to autumn
Lingered in the air.
Death comes spectacularly
Proudly, in Autumn.
'This is not Death 'I thought
Death is the sand of your lifes hourglass,
Spilling grain by ever decreasing grain
Onto the scales of Death'
Autumn is the time of sleeping
The dawn of a new beginning.

Boa Limerick
A German explorer called Victor
Fancied a Boa Constrictor
He lifted its's tail
Achtung! ! Twas a male
The boa was victor, not Victor! ! !

Cobwebs
By dawns early morning haze,
In admiration I did gaze,
At work of beauty so profound,
So intricate to astound.
An architectural wonder to behold,
A spiders web...designed so bold,
Assembled quickly with no noise,
A truly wondrous sight.
Suspended by silken threads of steel,
Threads extend like spokes of wheel,
A triangular web between two twigs
A deadly trap for flies to kill.
Covered in dewdrops it did shine,
A silken palace...so divine

Despair
Rejected, dejected, depressed,
A tightening pain in his chest
His whole life now in sad turmoil
No reason now for to smile
Policemen call to his gate,
Soon the court to decide his fate,
Abandoned by family and friends
Too late now to make amends
Leaving now his empty home,
In his car...he drives alone,
On trembling legs, unsteady gait,
He walks through fields,
Solemn faced,
Standing now on high cliff top,
Gazing down at sheer drop,
With heavy heart and tear stained eyes,
He whispers now his last goodbyes,
Angry too..he takes deep breath
Said 'F...k them all'
And then he leapt.
