A Woman's Beauty

A woman's beauty
Is so precious to view
It's my favorite passtime
My favorite thing to do
I can look at a beautiful woman all day
and take her in in every way
It's my curse and my blessing
But its my nature
I can pretend it's not there
I can hide it
But I can't wish it away

But as I go on in life
I've learned to look deeper inside
or I have often tried
and I've seen of women the most attractive part
Is a beautiful heart
And if you're wise you can see it in the eyes
It speaks of truth and deals not in lies
A beautiful heart shines so bright
Comforts you in the night and treats you right
And never grows old or fades
Kindness and gentleness build love over time
A beautiful heart is true beauty so sublime

Don't Fall In Love (If You Belong To Someone Else)

Don't fall in love
If you belong to somoene else

You thought you knew lonliness
You thought you knew pain
You thought you knew sadness
And everything about Love In Vain

All you thought you knew
You had to painfully learn again
Reminded that nobody loved you
That on nobody you could really depend

And just when by chance you felt romance
Thought somehow you found your destined twin
You found abandonment and silence all over again
And in the end they wouldn't take your heart in

The one you thought understood you and would always understand
The one you thought would always hold your heart and your hand
In the end, on them you couldn't depend
They really weren't your long-lost friend

Now the only thing you could ponder, to muster a melancholy laugh
Is the thought you knew all of love..but you never really knew even half
Now you hide your heart away and dream of an unlikely someday
For a love story to fall into your lap, rescue you from the dues you pay

Don't fall in love if you belong to someone else

A Heart Is Like A Compass

A heart does not understand boudaries
A heart is like a compass
It only knows what it feels
and points that way

A compass needle knows only to point to true North
A heart only points in a direction it feels True
My heart only points, without shame, to you
The same, no matter where I turn, or what I do

Loving you seems the only thing to do

Caring

It is caring
Pure and simple
That reaches the heart
Like the calm
Of a fresh fallen snow

It is the trust
The innocence
That eclipises all other emotions
An inner voice
That somehow knows

That caring is a gift
Given blindly and without fear
To be a gentle blanket
To ease the burdon
Of another who we hold dear
