Silence Echos
Silence
makes my heart break
Silence
Love, does not make
Silence
Was it all just a terrible mistake?
Silence
Was love just a game, just fake?
Silence
Leaves me heartbroken
Silence
Kills he feeling behind words unspoken
Silence
has is a shield you hide behind
Silence
Guards what's on your mind
Silence
Chills your heart's sound
Silence
Love cannot silently be found
Silence
has turned your dreams blind
Silence
is darkness in which you cannot find
Silence
Crushes the hopeful feelings that were kind
Silence
Of emptiness it did remind
Silence
Silence took all I sought to find
Silence
Silence was hurtful and unkind
Silence
Will kill love before it ripens on the vine
Love will go silently
But it's lonely hurt will echo for all time

In The Solitude Of Prayer
In the solitude of prayer
deep
Lost in moments in between weep
and sleep
In the solitude of prayer
Lonliness finds a rest
Survived another test
Brings out our best
In the solitude of prayer
With nobody there
Except those far away
Reminded of their distant care
In the solitude of prayer
You pray for their smile
For their personal trial
Silently, all the while
In the solitude of prayer
Dreams seem more near
More hope than fear
Thoughts of those past those dear
In the solitude of prayer
Pray for their souls kind
Whose memory is still in your mind
And in your heart
In the solitude of prayer
Pray for your dear friends
Whose heart's you defend
As your own heart they mend
In the solitude of prayer
As for God's wisdom
And his love
As all love comes from above
In the solitude of prayer
Find grace to forgive
And to truely give
And to live
In the solitude of prayer
Recall how to dream
Of warm embraces of affection
And of love returned in your direction
In the solitude of prayer
Pray with conviction
Pray for the impossible
Without fear or restriction

A Beautiful Heart
Beautiful Girl
Beautiful Heart
The two don't always go together
Neither, necessarily apart
A beautiful girl
You might come across every day
and you might feel an attraction
We're wired that way
But in time you know
what others eventually learn
It's a beautiful heart
that's better to earn
Because beauty only goes so far
and is skin deep
But a beautiful heart
is forever to keep
And long after beauty has faded
she'll likely remain jaded
Vanity in its place remains
seeking approval and gains
But a beautiful heart
grows in its grace
and gracefulness is its own beauty
and puts a smile on your face
When you see the eyes
and you look deep inside
you can see many things
that some may hide
A beautiful heart
is so hard to find
Treasure above priceless art
Inspire me to be kind
One special girl
will remind you of both
Beauty and a beautiful heart
and you'll gravitate to her from the start
She'll play on your soul
and she'll stay gentle on your mind
and you find yourself dreaming
'I wish somehow she was mine'
But of the two if you could so choose
a bet on which you can never lose
Choose the beautiful heart
Because that heart will melt away your blues
A beautiful heart will increase your joy
and increase your hope
and make you feel like a man
More than just a toy
If you find a girl with a beautiful heart
Give her love from the very start
Treat her kind and with dignity and care
and for you, she'll always be there

Cancer Prayer - for caregiver
Dear God,
Give me the strength
To show compassion and care
To ease the worries of someone
To help them to smile
Help me to show them
That life is still precious
In the midst of illness and uncertainty
Help me to calm their worries and fears
To remind them to laugh
And to enjoy the little moments of life
