Flowers (haiku)
Soft flowers for you
A token of affection
For a heart so kind

HAVE A WONDERFUL DAY
Just in case nobody does say
Have a wonderful day
If you're at work
and all the world
seems to be at play
Smile your work away
If you're having trouble
and it feels like double
Do a good turn for someone else
and ease their worried mind
I think a little happiness you will find
when you make an effort to be kind
And someone else you might remind
that there is hope among humankind
If you're at school
and you don't feel like you belong
Keep in your heart a song
Do your best as you sing along
If you're at home alone
No ring of the phone
No note or text meant to come your way
Lonliness will pass...will soon go away
sSo think a happy thought today
All your troubles and worries
are here now but won't be long
Someday soon you'll find a place you seek
Exactly where you've belonged all along
So in case nobody else would say
I wish you a happy wonderful day
All your worries and sadness wished away
Today it's going to be better
Find a little beauty in your day

Lasting Love
Romance without real love fades
Love without romance fades too
Only love true..will ever do

An Old Love Poem
There is a point in everyone's life where they dream
I used to be a dreamer too
Now I'm on the tail end of dreams and have...just one
I dream of being loved by you
Selfish dream, I know
but I always dreamed love would one day be true
and I gave it up, quit on it
and then there was you
And not I've got this terrible feeling
terribly lost and lonely too
and it's somehow turning out blue
and feels lost on you
Because in my dream
I reached out to touch you
and you reached for me too
I really wanted to believe it was true
But you shy away and silently play
as thought its just entertainment or something to do
but one heart is breaking in two
and the other is uncertain almost through
and there is nothing anybody can do
except for you
to reach for me
because I never needed anyone more than you
