Waiting for wifey
my wife makes me wait
whenever we go out
it's just her unchangeable trait
put on her lips
look at her hips
adjust her hair
or some other care
as i'm writing this poem
(i tell the truth)
i wait once again
patience i learn
- or do i?

Open
let me be
an open book
open door
honest
real
say what i feel
honesty is refreshing
and brings a peaceful blessing

Apprentice of the Air
always here
invisible
i'm sometimes unaware
how much you care
ministering spirit
fair
apprentice of the air
sent from Jesus
up there
wish i could repay
some way
both of you
what you do
overflowing
to many
or few
love, enliven
take away
the blue

Dog spelled backwards
the dog is a social beast
sniffing butts
from large to least
saying hi
with wagging tail
or happy bark
all of life is
a carefree lark
man and woman's
furry best friend
God spelled backwards
is dog -
love both send
