  21.

Just thoughts.

Maybe I'm a cynic
but I don't believe it's true
Japan kills whales for scientific purposes
not food
that farting isn't funny
and nudity is rude
Hitler was misunderstood
and bankers work for you

You won't have to pay by volume
for the air you have to breathe
the government aren't planning now
to tax you for the trees
fresh waters a commodity
Elvis has come back
and world war in Africa
isn't somewhere down the track.

  22.

Another girls come along.

When I saw him chatting
In some other girls dreams
How I felt the knife
give a twist in my spleen
Sisterhood doesn”t mean a damn thing
When another girl comes along

How I waited, and dated
Hoping he”d be the one
How he fed me the lines
That the time was all wrong
And I can”t swim
Cause the tide has just gone
Now another girls come along

Now I’m left wondering
What I’m gonna do
I like shopping
And she”s taken my shoes
I feel I”ve got the butterfly blues
Since another girls come along.

Avalon

Down by the green glen's river
down by the bluebell woods
where the willow branches shiver
in the tall oaks neighbourhood
close by the pixie dell
where the fairies dance and play
that's where you'll find the beauty
of the unicorn at bay

Oh, through the morning glory
as the mists begin to clear
you can smell the flowers and woodsmoke
from the hermit's cave that's near
you can sometimes hear him singing
some strange lilt that no one knows
as he makes the magic crystals
in the kingdom Avalon.

Chains

She took a long drive
to escape her dark life
she was chained as a woman
and chained as a wife
deep down she felt running
would free her from pain
but the chains in her heart
pulled her back home again

She wanted ambition
she wanted loves bloom
she wanted creation
to give her some room
she needed the space
to sort things in her brain
but the chains just kept pulling
her back home again.
