Shuffling with my shoes
I've been looking for some time
I've been searching for some sign
walking down a lonely line
shuffling with my shoes
The grass is green along the road
the birds are singing songs they know
but I just wander as I go
shuffling with my shoes
People ignore me
they don't want to know me
a dirty old bum
with a bottle of rum
shuffling with my shoes
I may sleep in ditches
but I've got my riches
as I gaze at the stars
the moon and mars
shuffling with my shoes
The sun hits the horizon
my life ain't surprising
the older I get
the less I regret
shuffling with my shoes
Tomorrow's a new day
once again I'll be on my way
at break of dawn
I'll just soldier on
shuffling with my shoes.

Since you've been gone
Since you've been gone
I feel so alone
and sit with a sad lonely heart
I wish you were here
to wipe off my tears
and bring all my happiness back
I felt quite bright
when we parted that night
I counted the minutes and hours
then you called through a friend
why pretend, it's the end.
'You bitch', ' I spent a fortune on you'.

Sweet meat
Come and have a look at this
it's such a touch of class
my liver is incredible
my hearts a work of art
you've never seen my meat so lean
my kidneys are a view
my pies would melt the hardest eyes
my chops and pasties too
If you want some chicken legs
then have a look at mine
my eggs come in three sizes
my bacons very fine
my steak would put you in a stew
and make your veggies wince
you can chew on my pork scratchings
or have a pound of mince
My ham would make an actor cry
my beef could start a war
my pork and ham ridicules spam
you couldn't ask for more
so come and set your eyes on me
there's nothing to compare
I am your local butcher
come and try my wares.

Tell me
Tell me why the stars come out when I look in your eyes
Tell me what the pains about when whispering goodbyes
Tell me did the angels cry when you came down to earth
Tell me how can simply I show you what your worth
Tell me why my heart beats faster
Tell me what to do
Tell me is it ever after being in love with you.
