Rebecca Flynne
An old man standing by a tree
was gazing at a stream
and as he watched the waters pass
it caused his mind to dream
He dreamt of things so long ago
he thought of dreams gone by
Rebecca Flynne I dream upon
the twinkle of your eye
Oh how I loved your flowing hair
oh how I loved your charm
and where would I have been
without you hanging on my arm
And though I may be past my prime
it's fairly safe to say
I still see you Rebecca Flynne
as beautiful today
He thought about the girl he knew
her face he knew so well
and how she always laughed about
the jokes he used to tell
He used to call her honey
then he gazed up at the tree
I wonder sweet Rebecca Flynne
if you were made by bees
Gone by gone by Rebecca Flynne
we drifted far apart
the years have gone
but I still love you here inside my heart
And though my eyes are getting dim
it's fairly safe to say
I still see you Rebecca Flynne
as beautiful today.

Secret.
This is the secret
from long long ago
that's never been written
and never been told
a tale of the living
that's kept by the dead
these are the words
that have never been said
This is the story
that you musn't tell
by those who know nothing
forever to dwell
always kept hidden
and never revealed
in trust that is given
through lips that are sealed
This is the message
delivered in faith
vowed not repeated
in anger or haste
for once in the open
would make others weep
this is the sentence
you must never speak
This is the silence
that's passed on to you
with love it is given
though you always knew
from the beginning
deep down in your soul
that life wasn't quite
what appearances showed.

Seraphim
Seraphim of twilight time
drawing through the veil of shadows
whisper tales of love sublime
and what becomes of future morrows
spread your dream of nature waiting
fan the earth with beating wings
encircle love that's of your making
free the blossoms that you sing
dance with light in glory fires
casting thoughts and spinning spells
imploring nature to a greeting
of the art you grace so well.

Show the way.
Sometimes in life
you'll find the price
will cause your heart to frown
it may be wealth
or lack of health
or friends who've let you down
but don't you fret or hideaway
the flowers grow from rain today
and stars like you don't go away
so laugh and shine and show the way.
