  1.

Shopping for yourself

Store up for a while
What things you might need
Just for few weeks
No more you see
We've lived with the sins
Of greed and lust
We don't need anymore
To be blamed on us
Just do it slow
That way from where it might flow
It might be here faster
For others you know.
Some planted early
It won't be too long
So just the staples
In case something goes wrong

And point out the toxins
Planted in the way
So others can see them
As they pass here today
Just point them out
As you pass by
No false accurasations
For our goal is High

The Lord's Prayer

Our Father Which art in heaven
Hallowed be Thy Name
Thy Kingdom come
THY WILL BE DONE
On earth as it is in Heaven
Give us this day our daily Bread
And forgive us our sins
For we also forgive everyone that is indebted to us
And lead us not into temptation
But deliver us from evil
For Thine is the Kingdom and the power and the glory
Forever. Amen.

Snobbery

A solitary rose in red attire
Condescended:
A fleeting glance -
She apprehended
My affections,
Turned away
From me, a stray -

Stubble weed -
Genes to build an oddity:
Common seed -
Happy-go-lucky entity
In dull array.

The rose glowered,
But in ascension
Slipped a view of blight
Upon her regal greenery:
Black spot!

In all her bold perfumery
And blushing flower,
The sheen of vulnerability in jet
Reminded me how snobbery
And haughty shower
Tarnish with an underlying debt!

She wavered in her shallow play -
Man-bred -
Hardiness foregone.

The rose no longer shone.

She and Drugs

Freshly spawned,
Brain dumps
Bleeding grey:

Reflections of a mind
That wavers thin
Along the line
That savours pain -

A pond of skin
Devoid of breast -
The pad a feign:
The nothing
Underneath your bra
At best
Is your imagination

Spread across a narcoleptic world
Suchlike survival
In and out
Of haunted woods;
In and out -
You're in and out
As blood transfused -
Pumping on
To ooze at pace
Upon another haemorrhage

And there! a goblin
Here! a goblin
Care to entertain a goblin
In the lair
That is a mind
Of drugs? -

We know it's you -
It's you we know.

We know you're through.

Fail Safe Safely

Fail to the safe, The Lord of Heaven
Magnificent are His ways
Put the shiny reflective jacket
Inside a large trash bag

Then into a place of safe keeping
Damp wiping all sparkles away
Make note of all it might have touched
Damply washing all the glitter today

Do so with all caution!
A good dust mask and gloves a must
Along with long sleeves and pants
To rid everything of the dust

Now place all used inside another bag
And plan on tossing that one away
For vacuuming might lift the fines
And an air-born cloud it'll sway

Now for yourselves and family
Shower or bathe away
The entire parts of your body
Not rubbing hard, but gently brushing
that filthy sin away

Thank the Lord for all that's been done
Each and every day
Repenting in Christ His Savior
And loving Him, The Way
