Humor Is an Armor

Worry is an invisible tumor
But it can be cured by humor
With rage let not face simmer
As others’ faces must not become dimmer

Heart must teach tongue peace-grammar
Then it will not become a hammer
Harsh words do not even murmur
When anger comes become a mummer

The extremities of a discussion
Will result in tongue’s ignition
The outcome will be an altercation
That will result in sadness-radiation

If angry feelings are used to argue
Then sadness becomes the residue
Not only happiness will say adieu
But people will also say adieu to you

You think for a moment
About a past argument
Which you did for a moment
You will lament feeling unpleasant

Of course if we want improvement
We really require an argument
But we must reach an agreement
For improvement agreement is the basement

Laughter is the best medicine
Weeping is an unforgivable sin
Allow in heart happiness to reign
Create everywhere enjoyable scene

Combine laughter with brilliance
You can have friends in trillions
Be softer to each and every audience
Laughter and brilliance are lovely guardians

Laughter is God’s dear daughter
Sadness, she will easily slaughter
With God’s permission marry laughter
You will never get into hot water

If brain is a boiling kettle
Head becomes brittle
Mind will not firmly settle
Happiness will be very little.

  46.

laughter, the best medicine?

what's in a sound, thaT HAS NO WORD?
laughing in enjoyment, or at a spirit broken
laughter brings us closer, or for a fight will gird
laughter has a resonance, meaning many things unspoken

being me, i may laugh, i may cry
but i will only half the time laugh with most of you
the laughter that a good man, a good joke may buy
is the laughter that soars joyful in skies of blue

the laughter that needs a victim? maliscious and so wrong,
you're resonance is dissonance to this poets soul
in this errant, poetic whim, this sad and mournful song
i speak of sounds emanating from a hole

not a heart.

hope, Emily says, sings without words
like the morning majesty of a symphany of birds
nobody i would condone, laughs at birds, only
somehow, with them, but if they're hurt, like maybe you or me

have a poets heart, and share some hope
what may start with a smile
at hurt feelings, or a snit, or a mope
might become a laugh, in a little while

i've heard of many a hopeful smile

try one on
before the music is all gone
and you're left at break of dawn
alone

laughing...

After the Laughter

'

It started as a giggle
as I tried to wriggle free
yet the hands up-down my spine
extend my misery

A poke, a squeeze
a stroke, a tease
a touch about the face

A song of laughter soon ensues
to take the giggles place

My arms pinned high above my head
defenseless I remain
Assaulted by a thousand hands
who laughter seek to gain

For your own pleasure you so act
yet I'm the one who smiles
unwillingly
or could it be
I've loved it all the while?

Please! Don't! ' I beg
I don't think I can take it
the soft caress upon my neck
makes it so hard to fake it

with that tortuous touch beneath my arms
it's diff'cult to hide
the stifled laughter welling up
from deep down inside

This torment is so wicked
yet, delightfully cruel
from a once beloved friend
who's now a coldhearted ghoul

though I surrender
the punishment persist
no mercy is shown
though I try to resist

until you attain
that which you are after
my mindless, unrestrained
and hysterical laughter

yet when you get this very thing
you do not desist
for the sound of my laughter
urges you to persist

until the tantalizing torment
I do not wish to conclude
and euphoria takes over
all my fears are subdued

We Need Some Laughter In Our Lives

We need some laughter in our lives since laughter makes us happy
I know this bloke he never smiles like baby with wet nappy
He always seems so close to tears for him I do feel pity
Financially well to do and spiritually poor many like him in this City
With a lovely school going daughter and a beautiful wife he ought to feel lighthearted
But happinness out of his life 'twould seem has long departed
A millionaire many times over his business it is thriving
But about him he has the sad look of one barely surviving
He needs some laughter in his life since by laughter he's forsaken
Without laughter happiness sleeps on and never does awaken
Materially wealthy but spiritually poor he always looks sad and lonely
But such is life as some do say and he is not the only
Wealthy person for to feel this way for him I feel some pity
For he is a poor man in some ways one of many in this City.
