When Happiness Is Illusive
When happiness is illusive
it is like a lingering dream
funny sometimes
to see you cry with a smile
with tears of joy
taking their own directional path
and meandering in happiness
on face and flesh
the tears being born out of a womb
where the story was told
where the echo from laughing
gave birth to a new friendship
a holistic feeling of closeness and comfort
more healing in its creation
laughing forever
laughing while time is not watching over you
laughing is your spirit and soul
echoing with the tears in your eyes
even unable to remember
when happiness is illusive.

Happiness
Happiness doesn't count the time
Happiness is a flowing rhyme
That is given to everyone dear
If one knows how to take its care
For happiness is a novel thing
That brings to all joy of Spring
For it is an on going show
In which everyone can row
His boat of life my dear
If one knows how to take its care.

A Trickle of Happiness
For you, I give a smile,
and hope that once in awhile
you might turn your face my way,
and give me a trickle of happiness.
Only the slight grin you flash,
and so sad I am when it's pass
but I always know that tomorrow
will bring another trickle of happiness.
For I know that through the winter comes the birds
to sing of sweet melodic words
to express how the small flowers
grant them that trickle of happiness.

Happiness
There is only one way to find true happiness
There is only one way to find true hope
You must look truly within yourself
For that is where it will always lie
For true happiness can only be seen
By those who truly believe
You can only find true happiness
If you can truly look within yourself.
