The Melancholy Blues

Depression controls every single one of us
For some people, depression barely exists
But for the rest of us, we are doomed to live depressed

Depression makes you unhappy
Makes you think trying suicide
Makes you think about the wonders about death
Depression causes us to hurt the ones we love day by day

We want to get help but never seem to be able to
A shred of hope left in us in those we love
Hoping they will save us from this black-hole
That we keep falling into

Depression controls us, our feelings and our mind…
And we battle it every day with tiredness.

Depression Is Like...

Depression is like
being thrown
into a giant sea
where you can't swim,
Depression is like
being thrust
into a never ending pit
with scorpions and snakes all around
Depression is like
being pushed
into a lion's den
with no way out.
Depression is like
being enclosed in a cage
that's locked from the outside.
Depression is like
being in a deep nightmare
that's never ending

  39.

depression

depression is not what you want in your life
depression is not the answer to your problems
depression effects your mind and your thoughts
depression is anger and lashing out at people
depression is something you feel when no else cares about you

  40.

Depression

Depression is a deep, dark, midnight blue.

Depression sounds like your soft sobs, gently muffled by your soft pillow pressed against your fresh, moist face.

Depression tastes like a sour lemon, when all you ever really wanted was a teaspoon of sugar.

Depression smells like your moist tears hitting your front porch after midnight, as the freezing cold chills you to the bone.

Depression feels like being trapped in a daark world, without an escape.
