Cotton Candy
Sugar, sugar, sugar
Sugar, sugar, sugar
Sugar, sugar, sugar
Ummm…
My Cotton (Cotton)
Candy (Candy)
My Cotton (Cotton)
Candy (Candy)
Sugar, sugar, sugar
Sugar, sugar, sugar
Sugar, sugar, sugar
Ummm…
My Cotton (Cotton)
Candy (Candy)
My Cotton (Cotton)
Candy (Candy)
Boy don’t you deny it
Cause I seen you eyein’
My Cotton (Cotton) Candy (Candy)
My Cotton (Cotton) Candy (Candy)
And it’s so sugary
That it’s got you beggin’ me
For just a little taste
A little something like there’s just no time to wait
(There’s just no time to wait)
The smells so sweet, ya poppin’
Tryna get a bite of me, no stoppin’
Yeah, and the sugar gets you hoppin’
And constantly repeatin’ of how ya wantin’
My Cotton, My Cotton, My Cotton
Candy
Got you wantin’, you wantin’, you wantin’
A taste of me
Sugar, sugar, sugar
Sugar, sugar, sugar
Sugar, sugar, sugar
Ummm…
My Cotton (Cotton)
Candy (Candy)
My Cotton (Cotton)
Candy (Candy)
Boy it’s so hard to calm
Your craves when they get too strong
Keep sayin’ that “you’re lonely”
And that “you want me”
But boy you got me all wrong
And you ain’t even known me that long
So you investigate (investigate)
Find out who I am
And what I’d say (I’d say)
And figure out my candy flave
And callin’ me yo babe
But it ain’t got you nothin’
Cause you’re still wantin’
My Sugar, sugar, sugar
Sugar, sugar, sugar
Some Sugar, sugar, sugar
Ummm…
My Cotton (Cotton)
Candy (Candy)
My Cotton (Cotton)
Candy (Candy)
Cause My Cotton, My Cotton, My Cotton
Candy
Got you wantin’, you wantin’, you wantin’
A taste of me
Boy My Cotton, My Cotton, My Cotton
Candy
Got you wantin’, you wantin’, you wantin’
A taste of me
(A taste of me)
I can be sour or so sweet
Just depends on the person that you tryna be
If you just about the flavor on the outside
Then you ain’t gone get the sugar on the inside
So you better think fast
And hope your exasperation lasts
Cause I ain’t no tootsie roll (roll)
Who comes alike with forty H**’s (oh)
Don’t act like you don’t know
Cause your face expression shows
That I am the craftier
The one you’re after
Come on come chase me
Cause boy I’ll be
Rockin’ non stoppin’
Poppin’ n lockin’
And droppin’
Spinnin’ n risein’
And grindin’
Closein’ my eyes
And re-findin’
Then sepertain’ n closenin’
Getting the feel of the motion’
And while I’m goin’
You hopein’
That it’s you flowin’
With this Cotton Candy
Cause I’ll be
Rockin’ non stoppin’
Poppin’ n lockin’
And droppin’
Spinnin’ n risein’
And grindin’
Closein’ my eyes
And re-findin’
Then sepertain’ n closenin’
Getting the feel of the motion’
And while I’m goin’
You hopein’
That it’s you flowin’
With this Cotton Candy
Sugar, sugar, sugar
Sugar, sugar, sugar
Sugar, sugar, sugar
Ummm…
My Cotton (Cotton)
Candy (Candy)
My Cotton (Cotton)
Candy (Candy)
Cause My Cotton, My Cotton, My Cotton
Candy
Got you wantin’, you wantin’, you wantin’
A taste of me
Boy My Cotton, My Cotton, My Cotton
Candy
Got you wantin’, you wantin’, you wantin’
A taste of me
(A taste if me)
Slow down
Slow down
Slow down
I’m only one cone
Slow down
Slow down
Slow down
And not from no candy store

Candy
This poem is not really about Candy. It's about temptation. I used the word 'Candy' metaphorically. It's up to the reader to know what this poem is really about.
I went to buy candy this morning
10 am
Fucked me up on the inside
Burned my throat
Was it really candy that I bought?
Next thing I know
Time is my friend
Or is it just pretend?
I wonder how many of my scars
Candy would be able to mend
Aisle three
Get more of that candy
The light is dim here
But it's all clear
The candy I want to get
Makes me easily forget
So I buy candy
More and more candy
Strawberry
Blueberry
And lots of other flavors too
Whatever it takes
To get me out of this blues
My shadow looks at me with discontent
Shakes its head,
Points its finger back at me
Like I should be feeling guilty
But I couldn't care less
Candy fills my emptiness
Like a baby, I'll even stain my dress
I buy candy
More and more candy
Now I'm in my own illusion
The effect scurries fast
But I like it, like the confusion
So bad, I want it to last
Don't judge me this way
I'll give you some candy
Just chill, relax and lay
Tomorrow's a new box of candy
A new day…
I reach for my imaginary doorknob
Flip it open
No candy there
So I weep and sob
Without my sweetener
The tea isn't tea
The coffee isn't coffee
Again you've taken away
The only thing that's left for me
Give me back my candy
Far away I'm sailing
Into a dream, where you're always failing
It could just be me
No it's not
It's what I see
When candy is inside my blood
Smiles fill my face like a flood
It burns; it's one of candy's flaws
But to feel that flame
I'd beg and crawl
You've taken the pleasure away
Left the candy wrapper for display
Give me back my candy
More and more Candy.

A Penny Candy Store
Walking by an old abandoned building
That once housed a penny candy store,
I envisioned all the wide-eyed children
As they gazed at the display of candy galore.
I was saddened by the closure,
And it took me back to the days of yore
When I, too, was spending my pennies
At the neighborhood's penny candy store.
As a youngster, I stared in disbelief
At all the candy unsurpassed
And often rubbed my fingers unconsciously on
The counter top of highly polished glass.
At the proprietor's helpful suggestion
I would only remain silent and gape.
The variety of candy caused me to be uncertain
As to what penny candy I would take.
What a thrill to have a penny in my hand?
It is a feeling that I still cherish today.
I was able to go to the penny candy store
To select and buy candy my own way.
Though I may still be indecisive at times
While viewing the niceties by the score,
The thoughts of time tried candy still remain
From the old, neighborhood candy store.

Candy Land
Candy land Candy land,
chocolate sand,
Candy land, Candy land,
let me hold your sugary hand.
Candy land, Candy Land,
the sweetest land there is.
